Who we are

G&L M&A Advisory runs this site. To ask about your information, correct it, delete it, or complain, reply to any of our emails or write to the address in the footer of our emails. If you’re not happy with our answer you can contact the privacy regulator where you live (in Australia, the OAIC; in the UK, the ICO; in the EU, your local data protection authority).

What we collect

When you visit this site we record the pages you view and how you use them: what you click, how far you scroll, how long you spend on each section, how much of our videos you watch, and short passages of page text you highlight or copy. We never record what you type into a form field until you move on to the next step. We also record your approximate location from your IP address, your device and browser, and how you arrived (for example the ad or link you clicked). When you apply or book a call, we collect the details and answers you give us, including answers you give in the booking form.

How we use it

To run and improve this site, to assess whether we can help you, to contact you about your application and your call by email, and (only if you tick the box) by phone, and to measure our advertising. We use what you told us and what you looked at on the site to tailor the emails we send you: for example an email may speak to the question you said is holding you back, or quote back what you wrote about why now is the right time. Some emails are written or adjusted with the help of an AI model.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us operate, under their own privacy and security terms. Several are based in, or process data in, the United States:

We do not sell your personal information.

Calls with our AI assistant

If you tick the box on the application, our AI assistant may call the number you gave us to confirm or rearrange your strategy call, or to follow up on your application. If you call our number or start a call from our website, you’ll also speak with the AI assistant. It always says it’s an AI at the start of the call. Calls are recorded and transcribed, and a summary and your answers are added to your application so our team can prepare. Say “stop” on any call, untick the box, or tell us any other way, and we’ll stop calling you.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies to recognise your browser and keep your application progress. Visitors in the EU, the UK, the rest of the EEA and Switzerland are asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set or any data is shared with analytics or advertising platforms, and can change their choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” button.

How long we keep it

We keep detailed website usage data (clicks, scrolling, IP address, device) for up to 13 months, then delete or anonymise it. We keep your application, emails and call records while we’re in contact with you and as long as we need them for our business and legal records. Ask us and we’ll delete your information sooner.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can ask the AI assistant, or us, not to contact you again. To access, correct or delete your information, reply to any of our emails. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to object to marketing and profiling, to restrict or port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time.
